titleOfInvention N- (5,7-DIMETOXI (1,2,4) TRIAZOL (1,5-A) PYRIMIDIN-2-IL) ARILSULFONAMIDE AND HERBICIDE COMPOSITIONS FORMULATED WITH SUCH COMPOUNDS AS ACTIVE AGENT; PROCESS TO PREPARE THEM AND METHOD TO CONTROL INDESEABLE VEGETATION USING THESE COMPOUNDS
abstract Benzenesulfonamide and pyridinsulfonamide compounds, specifically N- (5,7-dimethoxy [1,2,4] triazol [1,5-a] pyrimidin-2-yl) aryl sulfonamides compounds of formula (1) wherein: Q represents N or CH; A and B independently represent H, halo, R, OR 'or CO2R' ', provided that A and B are not both H; D represents H, halo or R; T represents H, SO2R '', C (O) R '', C (O) NR''2, or CH2CH2C (O) OR ''; R represents C1-3 alkyl, each optionally possessing up to a maximum possible amount of fluorine substituents, R 'represents C1-4 alkyl, C3-4 alkenyl, or C3-4 alkynyl, each optionally possessing up to an amount maximum possible of fluorine substituents; and R '' represents H or C1-4 alkyl; and when T represents H, they are acceptable salts for agriculture. Said compounds are applicable as herbicides, in the control of vegetation regardless of post- or pre-emergent vegetation; including compositions formulated with herbicidally effective amounts of said compounds in combination with agriculturally acceptable carriers and / or adjuvants, and a process for preparing said compounds of formula (1) and a method for the control of undesirable vegetation, by applying effective amounts of said compounds on said vegetation and / or in the locus.
