Compounds of the General Formula 1 are disclosed and claimed: in which R 1 is selected from any of the following: phenyl, pyridinyl; thienyl; furanyl; imidazolyl; pyrrolyl, triazolyl, thiazolyl; and pyridyl N-oxide in which each of the R1 and heteroaromatic R1 phenyl rings may optionally and independently of the others be further substituted by 1, 2, or 3 substituents selected from the group consisting of linear C1-6 alkyl or branched, NO2, CF3, C1-6 alkoxy, chlorine, fluorine, bromine and iodine Substitutions in the phenyl ring and in the heteroaromatic ring can take place at any position in said ring systems; as well as its salts and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the novel compounds and their use in therapy, in particular in the treatment of pain, anxiety and gastrointestinal functional disorders. |
