abstract | Procedure for obtaining fine chemicals by culturing organisms, such as plants, that have a shiquimate pathway, modified compared to the wild type, by altering the activity of at least one enzyme of the shiquimato pathway is selected by less a measure of the group of measures A and B, with A and B having the following meanings: A: increased activation of at least one enzyme of the wild type shiquimato pathway; B: incorporation of at least one gene in the organism against which the wild type does not present any orthological gene and that bridges the metabolic pathway of the shiquimato pathway. Preferably, to measure A, the activity of at least one enzyme in the shiquimate pathway is increased by overexpression of nucleinic acids, which code for proteins with this enzymatic activity.
