| abstract | A pesticidal composition comprising: (i) 3- (2,2-dichlorovinyl) -2,2, 2-methyl-4-oxo-3- (2-propynyl) cyclopent-2-enyl dimethylcyclopropancarboxylate, and (ii ) a propylene glycol monoalkyl ether or a dipropylene glycol monoalkyl ether, wherein the weight ratio of compound (i) to compound (ii) of said pesticidal composition ranges between 1: 3 and 1: 100. Said propylene glycol monoalkyl ether is the propylene glycol monomethyl ether or propylene glycol monomethyl ether, while alkoxy alkyl dipropylene glycol ether is the dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether. Said composition also comprises a propellant and a solid carrier. A method for pest control which comprises applying an effective amount of the pesticidal composition described above. |
