Use of compounds that possess inhibitory activity in the production of nitric oxide, to increase an effect caused by the IL-2 inhibitor. Said use comprises the preparation of medicaments that are useful for increasing an effect caused by the IL-1 inhibitor. They also include the compositions comprising said compounds. IL-2 inhibitors are, for example, tacrolimus or its hydrate, cyclosporins and macrolidostricyclics. Medications thus prepared are useful for treating and / or preventing acute rejection after organ or tissue transplantation.
