titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PESTS IN CULTURES OF USEFUL TRANSGENIC PLANTS WITH NEONICOTINOID COMPOUNDS |
abstract | Method to control pests with nitroimino or nitroguanidino compounds, especially thiamethoxan; more specifically method for controlling plant transgenic pests and useful with a nitroimino or nitroguanidino compound. The methods proposed in the literature to control and combat pests, particularly insects and representatives of the order Acarina, or to protect plants, especially crop plants, are not entirely satisfactory in the field of pest control. Methods for controlling pests in crops of useful transgenic plants, such as, for example, in corn crops, cereals, soybeans, tomatoes, cotton, potatoes, rice and mustard, characterized in that a pesticidal composition comprising a nitroimino onitroguanidino compound, especially thiamethoxan, imidacloprid, Ti-435 or thiacloprid in free form or in the form of agrochemically useful salt and at least one auxiliary, whether applied to pests or their environment, in particular to the crop plant itself; use of the composition in question and propagation material of transgenic plants that have been treated with it. |
