titleOfInvention ISOLATED FRAGMENT OF NUCLEIC ACIDS THAT CODIFIES ENTITIES OF THE BIOSYTHESIS OF THE FITIC ACID, CHEMERIC GENE, CELLULATED TRANSFORMED, POLYPEPTIDE, CELLS TO ALTER THE LEVEL OF EXPRESSION OF SUCH ENZYMES, METHODS FOR OBJECTIVES FOR ALL OBJECTS
abstract Isolated nucleic acid fragments encoding phytic acid biosynthesis enzymes are revealed more specifically, an isolated nucleic acid fragment encoding a myo-inositol-1 (or 4) -monophosphatase or a plant homologue of the extragenic suppressor protein of Synechocystis sp ., and its complementary. A polypeptide encoding a biosynthetic enzyme of the phytic acid selected from the group consisting of myo-inositol-1 (or 4) -monophosphatase and suppressor-estrogenic proteins is also revealed. A chimeric gene is also described which comprises a nucleic acid fragment encoding said enzymes, and its complementary one, operatively linked to suitable regulatory sequences, where the expression of the chimeric gene results in the production of altered (i.e., increased or decreased) levels of the proteins encoded in a transformed host cell, which is also described, with respect to the levels produced in an untransformed host cell. A method for altering the level of myo-inositol-1 (or 4) -monophosphatase or an extragenic suppressor protein in a transformed host cell and a method to obtain a nucleic acid fragment that encodes an amino acid sequence encoding myo-inosityl-1 (or 4) -monophosphatase or an extragenic suppressor protein and the products that are obtained.
