titleOfInvention COMPOSITION FOR SPRAY PERSONAL CARE THAT INCLUDES AN ADHESIVE COPOLYMER CONTAINING SILICONES AND METHOD FOR STYLING HAIR
abstract Personal care compositions comprising an adhesive copolymer containing silicone and a solvent for the copolymer selected from the group consisting of water, ethanol, n-propanol, isopropanol and mixtures thereof. The atomized hair compositions have a better ability to sereliminate hair during shampooing. The composition, when dried, exhibits a cohesive force greater than 0.5 kgf / mm2, a total energy absorption per unit volume or greater than 0.55 kgfmm / mm3 and preferably also an impact resistance greater than 7 mJ. Atomized hair fixing embodiments are preferred which have a better ability to be removed from the hair as defined by a hair stiffness value of 0 to 3.5 (scale 0 to 4) and a hair scaling value of 0 to 3.5 (scale 0 to 4), values determined by the defined hair removal methodology. The copolymer is formed by random copolymerization of: a) from 50% to 98%, by weight of said copolymer, of vinyl monomer units and b) from 2% to 50%, by weight of said copolymer, of macromonomer units that they contain polysiloxane, wherein said macromonomer units containing polysiloxane have an average molecular weight between 1,000 and 50,000 and correspond to the formula: X (Y) nSi (R) 3-m (Z) m, where: X is a copolymerizable vinyl group with said vinyl monomer units; And it is a bivalent linking group; R was selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydroxyl, C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkoxy, C2-6 alkylamino, phenyl, phenyl substituted with alkoxy or C1-6 alkyl; Z is the polymeric half of monovalent siloxane that has an average molecular weight of at least 1,000, at least, it is essentially non-reactive under conditions of copolymerization and hangs on the polymeric vinyl column after polymerization; n is 0 or 1; and m is an integer between 1 and 3.
