titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR PREPARING AMONOMETHYLPHOSPHONATE DERIVATIVES THROUGH HYDROGENATION OF CYANOPHOSPHONATE DERIVATIVES |
abstract | A new process to prepare aminomethylphosphonate consists of the hydrogenation of cyanophosphonate derivatives in the presence of a catalyst to produce aminomethylphosphonate derivatives. These derivatives of aminomethylphosphonate are of particular interest for their versatility in various syntheses, both from the phosphorous and the amine portions. In particular, the synthesis of N-phosphono-methyl-glycine, an herbicide well known for its efficacy, are important precursors. |
