abstract Compounds derived from 5-aryl-3- (8-azabicyclo [3.2.1] oct-3-yl) -1,3,4-oxadiazol-2 (3H) -one, in the form of the isomer, which respond to the formula General (I) in which R1 represents a C1-4 alkyl or C3-7cycloalkylmethyl group, X1 represents a hydrogen or halogen atom or a C1-4 alkoxy group, or OR1 and X together represent a group of formula -OCH2 O -, -O (CH2) 2-, -O (CH2) 3-, -O (CH2) 2O- or -O (CH2) 3 O-, X2 represents a hydrogen atom or an amino group, X3 represents an atom dehydrogeno or halogen, and R2 represents either a hydrogen atom, or a C1-6 alkyl group optionally substituted, either by a phenyl C1-4 alkyl group optionally substituted on the phenyl nucleus, or a group of general formula - (CH2) nCO-Z in which n represents a number from 1 to 6 and Z represents a group piperidin-1-yl or 4- (dimethyl-amino) piperidin-1-yl, in the state of free base or addition salt with an acid; a procedure to prepare them, medicines constituted by said compounds and pharmaceutical compositions containing said compounds. The compounds of formula (I) can be used for the treatment and prevention of disorders in which 5-HT4 and / or H3 receptors are involved, especially at the level of the central nervous system, the gastrointestinal system, the lower urinary system or the cardiovascular system. Glaucoma is also a disorder capable of being treated by the compounds of formula (I).
