Compounds derived from estradiene comprising estra-5 (10), 7-dien-3 Beta-ol-17one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of its ester of 3-sulfate, 3-glucuronide of estra-5 (10), 7- dien-3beta-ol-17-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, estra-5 (10), 7-dien-3alpha-ol-17-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of its 3-sulfate ester, and, 3 -glucuronide of estra-5 (10), 7-dien-3alpha-ol-17-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, as well as the metal-3-alkaline salt of estra-5 (10), 7-dien-3beta- ol-17-one and the 3-alkali metal salt of estra-5 (10), 7-dien-3alpha-ol-17-one, which are useful as estrogenic agents. A pharmaceutical composition containing them and the use of the same for the manufacture of drugs are also described. |
