titleOfInvention HERBICIDE COMPOSITION COMPRISING A HERBICIDE AND A SMALL AMOUNT BUT EFFECTIVE OF A POLYORGANIC ACID, NON-AROMATIC, SOLUBLE IN WATER, OR SALDEL SAME, WHICH INCREASES THE ABSORPTION OF THE HERBICIDE
abstract A herbicidal composition comprising a herbicide selected from the group consisting of substituted urea herbicides, carbamate herbicides, chloroacetamides, triazines, acetanilides, morpholine derivatives, toluidines, and mazone derivatives, with the inclusion of: a small, but effective amount that increases the absorption of the herbicide, of a non-aromatic, water soluble polyorganic acid, or salt thereof, which is a polyamino acid or a copolymer of said acid, selected from the group consisting of polyaspartic acid, polyglutamic acid, polyglycine, polylysine, a copolymer of cysteine and glutamic acid and a terpolymer of cysteine, glutamic acid and aspartic acid, said polyamino acid having a molecular weight greater than 1500. The use of said herbicidal composition allows a reduction in the level of treatment required for application in the field, due to because herbicide uptake by weeds is increased. Furthermore, this composition can be applied in post-emergency situations where herbicides are used for weed control, such as in lawns and gardens, around homes, and in farm buildings, grain elevators, and greenhouses, etc.
