They are aqueous binding agents, free of formaldehyde, which contain: a) a polymerizate obtained by free radical polymerization, consisting of 5 to 100% by weight, of ethylenically unsaturated acid anhydrides or ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acids whose carboxylic groups can configuring an anhydride group, and b) alkanolamines with at least two hydroxyl groups, the aqueous binding agent containing less than 1.5% by weight, based on the sum of A) + B), of reaction accelerators containing phosphorus. The use of such agents is also proposed to form floor coverings or to prepare coated fiberglass rolls for roofs. |
