titleOfInvention | USE OF GLUCOSAMINE SULFATE FOR THE TREATMENT OF PSORIASIC ARTHRITIS AND RELATED DISEASES OF THE JOINTS. |
abstract | This invention details a new type of treatment for psoriatic arthritis using glucosamine salts. The results of previous studies have clearly demonstrated the participation of the immune response to sugar amines in a patient with PS. The inflammatory capacity of glucosamine sulfate in animal molds has also been analyzed. Based on this, glucosamine sulfate was used orally in doses of 500 mg. for the treatment of patients with cutaneous and articular psoriasis. The therapeutic response in skin lesions was ineffective, while the improvement in joint injuries was very good after 3 months of treatment. Formulations: Tablets (tablets): Glucosamine sulfate 500 mg. Excipients: Starch 80 mg, Calcium stearate 20 mg Capsules: Glucosamine sulfate 250 mg, gelatin capsules. Syrup: Glucosamine sulfate 50 gr, Sorbitol 70% 500 ml, Raspberry flavor, Demineralized water esp 1 L. Ampoules for parenteral use: Glucosamine sulfate 500 mg, Lidocaine hydrochloride 1.25 mg, Demineralized water for injections esp 5 ml. |
