titleOfInvention DISINFECTANT CLEANING COMPOSITION, METHOD TO INCREASE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF AN ODOR REPRESSOR OR MASK AGENT USING IT, AND PROCESS TO DO IT.
abstract The present invention relates to compositions and methods that reduce the unpleasant odor of cleaning compositions containing disinfectants. An aspect of the present invention is a method of reducing the unpleasant odor of disinfecting cleaning compositions, increasing the effectiveness of an odor-masking or repressive agent in an aqueous cleaning composition containing a disinfectant such as a bactericide. The compositions according to the invention contain a non-ionic sugar surfactant such as an alkylglucose ester surfactant, aldobionamide, gluconamide, glyceramide, deglyceroglycolipid and polyhydroxy fatty acid amide, an alkylpolyglycoside or any combination of these surfactants and a compound with activator bacteri group consisting of halogen-substituted monohydric phenol compounds, halogen-substituted dihydric phenol compounds, halogen-substituted trihydric phenol compounds, halogen-substituted hydroxybenzoic acids, halogen-substituted bis (hydroxyphenyl) alkanols, and quaternary ammonium bromides selected from the group consisting of bromide lauryl dimethylbenzyl ammonium, dealkyl trimethyl ammonium bromide, alkyl isoquinolinium bromide and an odor masking agent selected from the group consisting of 3,5,5-trimethylhexanal, oxygenated monoterpenes such as citral, Ó- and ß-iono na, natural citrus oils and mixtures thereof. The present invention also relates to highly concentrated cleaning compositions containing high levels of disinfectants such as a bactericide as indicated herein. The invention also relates to a process for making an antibacterial cleaning composition comprising incorporating a composition containing a
