The composition contains 10 to 75% of said herbicide, such as trifluralin, 0 to 60% of a water immiscible solvent (the herbicide and the solvent forming a homogeneous dispersed phase), 0.5 to 10% d 'an emulsifier and 15 to 70% of an aqueous solution of an inorganic salt such as NaCl, the salt representing at least 5% of the aqueous solution which may still contain urea (percentages expressed by weight) . Application to pre-emergence agriculture.
